Welcome to caramel caravan Co.

When we realized that each of our mothers had given us a Kitchen Aid mixer for our MBA graduation (we have awesome moms!), we knew we wanted to combine our business backgrounds with something creative. Having been interested in the food scene, issues of sustainability and 'real' foods, baking and the craft of caramels, as well as design, Caramel Caravan Co. seemed a natural fit. We are proud to be fully women-owned, and as a small business, enjoy being able to do everything from stirring caramels, to managing suppliers, to delving into social media, to overseeing the renovation of our 1957 CalCraft vintage trailer. This work gives us meaning, and we love it!

We strive to bring you delicious and pretty treats, incorporating a consciousness of sourcing in our ingredients.

Real butter. Real cream. Real ingredients. Nothing you wouldn't make at home yourself.

Courtney

Courtney has been making caramels with her mom as long as she can remember, sharing a laugh and a glass of wine (once she was of age, of course ;) while making each unique piece by hand. It still remains one of her favorite activities, when she isn't searching for the perfect cheese or Napa Valley red. Outside the world of caramels (is there such a thing?!), Courtney has conducted a study determining the accessibility of fresh food to low income families in Silicon Valley, launched a few beer brands, and has a BS and MBA from Santa Clara University.
